It’s a vast majority of national media talking heads and college football pundits came out against our fan reaction to what would have been a horrible hire. But at least 95% of Vol Nation rose up and got the job done

Our next coach should embrace that passion from day 1. Address the fact the fans rose up and demanded better and how he will deliver. “I want to see that same loud passionate now turned toward our positive results.” I don’t care if he cuts an old school wrestling heel promo as long as he acknowledges the fans were right and that we will prove it to the rest of the world

Maybe the only guy who could pull that off is Lane Kiffin but after yesterday I think most of the fans would welcome him back

Atleast we've stood our ground and made our stand on whats right. They can never break us when we are united, the old spirit of Tennessee will never die. I think a mature Kiffin does the job

You're exactly right. There is a lot of talk out there that no good coach would accept the Tennessee job after what just happened. I say that is nonsense. After seeing what a passionate and united fanbase we have, a good coach, one who is worth his salt, would be delighted at the prospect.

The downside is, not many are worth their salt. They can't coach unless they're in an absolutely perfect situation. And even then they're only mediocre at best.

The media runs in cycles. Most likely they will move on soon. The real battle is us against a few that control the decision making at our beloved university.
