Yeah were is lawgator at now. I told you twenty pushups and he would be suspended for pregame warmups. Man meyer's no disciplinarian. He is running a zoo down there. Maybe they're all in a race to get matching ankle bracelets.

You know....... i want to bite my tongue but i can't.

the last group of fans to argue about players getting arrested, and coaches not busting their butts should be UT fans.

Sorry guys.... but the T on our helmets stands for THUG.

true story.

we cant talk any smack about meyer and joiner.

Well this is obviously the Caveat which the author of the thread left out.

Meyer said Joiner would not see the field as long as he is charged with a felony.

whatever dude.

this is a WEAK felony charge. No way it stands.

either way, it's not like Tennessee players dont get arrested. I know everyone is pissed UF killed us a few weeks ago, but talking holier than thou right now just shows that you are grasping at straws.

I'm here.

But having a hard time seeing what the sarcasm is about. Joiner has a felony charge so he is not playing against our toughest opponent of the year, right after a loss.

The owner of the lot says its not a problem but Meyer is waiting to see what comes of the criminal case before allowing Joiner to play. What else do you expect him to do?

Honestly, I'm having a hard time getting worked up about this. To me, the guys out and partying with people involved in shootouts later in the night is much more alarming.

Yeah were no saints. But it seems if anything ever happens before a big game at florida. You can bank on the player seeing the field.

Although the felony charge could be reduced to misdemeanor trespassing, Joiner's case could take several days or maybe even a couple of weeks to work its way through the state attorney's office.
It sounds like joiner will not be on the field for the LSU game. Thats good news for UT.

Yeah, UT will become a national power again by DEFAULT.......really something to be proud of!!

If we win enough games this year to be considered a national power, it'd little to do with Joiner and hardly qualify as "by default".

Tell you what . . . on the slim chance that we do make the SECCG, I'll do you a favor and be sure to enjoy it order to offset any embarrassment you may feel about how we get there.

If the way the season is going for you is getting you all disgruntled, maybe a shift in rooting interests would be a good thing. Maybe LSU or USC? They're both undefeated...

Think maybe he realized who broke into his lot??? Maybe he is a Gator fan and changed his mind about the situation...:whistling:

It's convenient for Meyer because Joiner had lost his starting job to a freshman named Major Wright.

He wasn't going to play much any way

At schools like florida and georgia, lawbreakers stay eligible for all the big games.

.

Lets keep the facts straight. Joiner plays FS and Wright plays SS. So they will go with somebody else there. Joiner will miss the LSU game unless they can get the local barney five to drop or reduce the felony to a lesser crime. So we will see if Urban has the power to get police to drop it. I think it will not happen until next week so Joiner will miss the game. It does not really matter either way UF loses big with or without him.

Go Vols beat those dawgs:)
