We are moving up. The ESPN FPI Power Index has us holding steady as the number 7th ranked team. However, the odds for Winning the Division and Conference, Making the Playoffs, and Winning the National Championship are starting to creep up.
20% chance of winning the division, with Georgia about 80% favorite. Even better odds of making the playoff at 23% chance (almost 1 in 4).
Almost 10% chance of making the NC, which you got to love as a Vol fan with what we've been through.
And lastly, 1 in 33 chance of actually winning a National Championship! that's pretty impressive when you think about it.
The 2 big favorites in our path are Alabama and Georgia. Knocking off one or both of them would significantly increase our odds at their expense. It's nice to be in control of our own destiny.
