I realize that UT has been trying and to an extent succeeding in establishing the running game, however the passing game seems very flat since the NC State game.

Bray is at his best when he is letting the ball fly and having JH and CP use their height and jumping ability to go up and get the ball. I realize both JH and CP have had some dropped passes, but these guys are to good not to continue giving them more changes.

I really hope for the Bama game that they open up the passing game again and let Bray be Bray and fling the ball all over the field and let JH and CP do their thing. What do they have to lose they are 20 point dog anyway.

I don't think I've ever agreed more. Where did the play action deep ball right over the middle go? It seems like it would be nice to send number 11 straight towards the end zone and say "sling it bray just make sure it's high and over the defenders, Hunter can get up and grab it"

Sounds smart, beat the best team in the country by going three and out over and over again. We have *****ed and moaned for a running game for three years, we finally get one and put ourselves in the position to be successful, and now we need to go back to deep ruotes on every play? Geezus...

Of course.. it was right in front of us the whole time! Why hasn't the coaching staff realized how simple this is? Man!! So Easy.. just throw the ball!! DUHH!

... NO! We need to run the ball. Look what it did when we played GA. Running will set up passing. Just run the ball and keep the defense off the field.

Hunter is playing not to get hurt... He is worried about his draft stock...which in my opinion is falling and he should be aware of this.

That is how you build a winning program. Inside out. You have to be able score td passes, but you get them from play action much more than you do from dropback passes, certainly against the good teams.

Feel the same way. Either way, he is not a factor. I know he gets doubled, but top 10 picks get doubled. They still have to produce. The top NFL guys get doubled. They still have to produce. Anybody on our team hoping/wishing to leave early has a two game schedule to prove it. The next two weeks.

It didnt matter his freshman year if he was in double coverage.. bray threw him a jump ball and he got it.. Hunter is not even catching the ball on slants when it hits him square in the hands.. hunter has had more drops than ZR.. pig has impressed me.. the boy lays out for balls.. we need more WRs like pig IMO.. that want the ball and will go get it..

I'm not saying deep routes on every play...but at least some deep routes would be nice. The NC State game is a good example.

Don't get me wrong, I love that the running game is doing much better and that we need it. But the passing game has been lacking this year since the NC State game. Even when we are inside the 20, no fade routes in the end zone. What good is having a top rate high jumper if you don't use him jumping for the ball in the end zone.
