Has Nike made road uniforms to match the old school home jerseys we wore last year with no black on them? I loved the home ones. Need to make the road ones to match.

If they did, they haven't introduced them yet. I thought DeerPark said last year they were going to for this season or at least looking into it. But at SEC Media Days, the players that went down wore the "regular" orange uniforms from last year.

I really hope they do because the white version looked great and it was a bit jarring when we were on the road and they didn't match.

I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I love the road uni's we wore in the Chris Lofton era. I know it had the black trim, which for some of you is sacrilegious. But I'd love to go back to something very similar to these and keep the home uni like it is. I'm not a huge fan of the checkerboards down the pants like our current road uniforms, and I much prefer the power T to the spelled out "VOLS" on the side of the shorts. JMO of course.

Not a fan of the fit or design of those. I love what we currently have for our home unis, and wish they would match up the road ones, as well. Those were always my favorite uniforms, and I was pumped when they brought them back for the SECT 14 or 15 years ago. Now, to have them as our permanent home attire suits me just fine. JMO, of course.

Yeah, not really a fan of those Lofton era uniforms either. At the time I did but now they look off. I love the new home ones and really wish they'd make an orange version. It's really weird to me they didn't make one for this season.

No offense but Ya’ll are crazy. Those CLo uni’s were sweet. Little baggie on him cause that’s how he liked them, and also probably because he seldom took the ball between the legs... but those are nice

Kevin O'Neill took "Volunteers" off of the jerseys. One of several a-hole moves he pulled here. Tennessee and Oklahoma were the last 2 teams that were grandfathered in with the team name and nickname both allowed on the jerseys. Obviously the NCAA has changed their mind on that rule (but still can't figure out which players can play 9 days before the season begins).

I don't care for all the black outlines. Putting black in the uniform makes the orange look too dark.

Not a fan of the fit - I agree there. Just talking about the design. But I also would like to see the current home uniforms translated to road uniforms. I'd like to see how that looks. That might change my mind :)

Smokey Greys are gone...Hopefully for good...They looked horrible

The grey can stay... in the closet. Those just didn't work in basketball. I mean...yuck!

Does anyone else wish we'd buck the trend some and wear our orange uniforms at home some? I know we did it against UK in one of the Pearl years. NBA teams have been doing it more. And I like when Memphis wore blue against us last year at their place. I think we could pull off color vs. color with many teams like UK, Vandy, Florida, etc.

The TN football used to always wear orange jerseys. Then for the 1969 Cotton Bowl versus Texas TN had to get white jerseys because of black and white television.

I believe that around that same time the basketball players often had different numbers for home and away games.
