Not trying to be a Nega-Vol; Why am I watching this??? Not a single serious prospect and its making me sick to hear them talk about these kids and their future teams.... Turning the channel and not coming back to the recruiting thread for the recruiting season.... Makes me want to what-if we had hired Charlie Strong instead of Lane Kiffin... Well CBJ looks like he can right the ship and get us back.. I just need to rip van winkle until we are competitively recruiting and competing on the field with the top tier teams.... Need next fall to come soon to erase the memories of Sal D...

I really could not find much worthwhile watching this game, offenses were do far behind defenses. The practices were the important thing, and I didnt see any of those.

Recruiting classes like we had in the 90's are long gone, we will have to win with who we get. These down years at UT have really taken a toll on recruiting.

I'm starting to think NCAA sanctions is the way to go. Look what it's done for USC and OSU.

Yes, that's sarcasm. But "sanctions" haven't really hurt either team.

unfortunately, I'm afraid, it will take a winning season or two to get back to the top 5-10 recruiting classes...However, it is possible if CBJ can somehow get us to 8-9 wins this year that things could pick up quickly...just not holding my breath on that one

You serious Clark? USC has no depth and will feel the strain of those sanctions for a while. To say that losing scholarships, especially 7 a year doesn't hurt a team..? How can you say that and be expected to be taken seriously?

USC might feel it, OSU certainly won't.

I do think it hurt USC. They have no depth on their team. That killed them this year along with other things. I wasn't arguing I was agreeing. I do think you need to walk the proverbial NCAA sanctions line to get the kids.
