UNC and Wake Forest play ACC non conference game?

Thought it was interesting reading that Wake and UNC agreed to play a nonconference game since they weren't scheduled to play cross division for a few more years. With all the whining from Bama about not finding anyone willing to play them, maybe ask Florida, Georgia or Kentucky to give them a 9th game?

The Lady Vols and Vandy have done this in the past when they aren't scheduled to play twice in conference play.

Makes sense in basketball where you have many games. Haven't heard of a football team doing this.

I think they had to get permission from the ACC to do it.
