Sorry for the rant.

I expected to wake up this morning to some good news. How this POS coach is still employed is beyond comprehension.

With all the 4 and 5 * talent and we are sitting at 3-5 (0-5 SEC) reeks of coaching malpractice. It is not even possible that every recruiting service misjudge4d these kids. It is straight up coaching incompetence.

Hart should be kicked in the nuts for extending this guy and giving him that ridiculous buyout. At this point CBJ should pay the university. Currie needs to roll the dice and get JG or Frost so we can at least compete in the east.

I feel Currie don't fire him today.

It will tell the fans he doesn't care if Tennessee can win games.

The fans will still show up and pay $


Very sad statement on the direction of Tennessee athletics if Butch is still the coach by practice time today.

If the fans don't start boycotting the games then it means they accept the lowest level of performance and winning doesn't mean any thing to them either.

The only thing unbelievable is that some of you are actually shocked by this. How long will it take for some of you to realize we have zero leadership in the AD

Incompetency rolls downhill. We continue to have zero leaders at UTK capable of understanding the brevity of this matter.

Time for a new Chancellor and AD.

How many of you are going to figure out that the Chancellor and the AD are the puppets of Jimmy Haslam. They are waiting on him to pull their strings. Complete BS. They should rename UT to Haslam University. They don't care about the alumni or the fans, only money. Pathetic!

Currie isn't raising the axe now that everyone and his brother is calling for Botch Jones' head.

I wish we were more like fl. but we got a puppet for an AD. Just the sight of Currie and Jones makes me puke. Just how bad does a team have to be or under perform to get the boot at TN. To think how Fulmer who is one of us got treated and to watch this AD grovel at the foot of the fraud Jones.is more than I can stand.

This is not going to be a popular post, but everyone needs to the chill the f out.

John Currie absolutely knows what he is doing. He cares about winning. He wants Tennessee football to thrive. He is a smart man who is seeing the bigger picture beyond what the volnation message boards want to feel good about. Let the process play out. This is a MAJOR decision and you bet your ass he is going to take his time and vet his pick for the long term of Tennessee Football (and his job ultimately).

Until then, unplug, go for a walk, do something other than vent and rant on a message board. It's football. Not life. I want Tennessee to win as much as the next guy, but good Lord can we give the man time to work? And for those who say "well i want to go to a bowl game", i say do you really think firing Butch now will make a difference? Teams are made in the spring and fall camps. Dobbs isn't going to stroll back in and solve the disaster of an offense we have just because Butch is fired.

We will be fine. As long as the mopey ass fans actually continue to support the team and not whine and fuss because of who is currently leading it.

Anybody think that maybe they worked out a deal behind the scenes? Maybe butch asked to finish the season, and agreed to a lesser buyout if they didn't make a bowl? I do feel like if that deal was made, it's understood that he would be gone at the end of the year regardless.

We may need to go ahead and fire the Governor too. And Trump himself should stay off Twitter for a little while.
