If the Florida game is postponed due to the coronavirus, what are the odds our game could be moved later in the day?

What??

Florida isn't till December 5....

Florida's suspending team operations due to COVID-19 so their game against LSU seems in jeopardy.

In which case, I would assume that there's a decent chance of ESPN picking up Kentucky/Tennessee and slotting it at 4:00 PM to replace their newfound hole but could also absolutely see them just shifting TAMU/Mississippi State into that slot.

This makes a lot more sense......and I'd be ok with a 4 pm game. Gives me and Jack and pepsi longer to get prepared for the game 😉

I hope it gets switched. My son has a soccer game at 11 and it’s an hour away. I’ve been looking for a place to grab a bite for lunch around there after the game but 4 would be much better!

Same situation here but wishing they’d move it to the night game on SECN after Mizzou/Vandy got postponed.

Postponed, just announced.

I’ll be flying that day at noon so I may miss the game, I’ll land around 4. What are the chances we move into that spot?

I'd guess zero.

It's Wednesday afternoon, UK will be leaving for Knoxville in less than 48 hours. Too many plans are all ready set to adjust it solely for the sake of a "better" TV time.

It's a matter of When, not IF, this happens to most CFB teams. There is a certain level of irony that Mullen was calling for a full swamp and now this game is postponed due to C19......

wasnt UF/LSU going to be on CBS ? They need a replacement for their contract dont they ?

It was the 4:00 PM EST ESPN game; the CBS game this Saturday is Georgia/Alabama at 8:00 PM EST.

There's no question that ESPN is going to need a game to air at 4:00, but it unfortunately feels as if shifting TAMU from the SEC Network to ESPN is the most likely scenario.

Edit: Which, it turns out, they've already done. We're stuck with noon on the SEC Network, it would appear.

Wouldn't they be traveling by bus?
