home game in UK history. I find that a little sad. I am a little concerned because their players will come out jacked higher than a georgia pine.

I don't understand UK's fascination with this game. I understand that they want to beat us and all, especially after 25 years. But they take it too extremes.
Their situation in football against us is like our basketball team against theirs. We've been dominated by UK for many years. The difference though is that our whole season isn't predicated on beating them. Don't get me wrong: I want to beat them very badly in hoops. But that doesn't make or break the season if we don't. And it shouldn't for them in football. I guess I'm tired of being everybody's big game. Go Vols!

Well.....it'll probably be their only chance to beat us for a while. We'll still be in rebuild mode next year, but it's a home game.

the better we get the more important the game will
be for other teams

Calling this their biggest homegame ever? That shows what kinda tradition/history their football program has. They havent beat us in a 1/4 century, good luck pussy cats!!

Are you new to college football? Sorry, no insult intended, but EVERY game matters in college football. That's why football engenders so much more passion than hoops or baseball.

It matters if you are good. But in reality, there isn't much difference between 8-4 and 7-5. Neither are good enough.

I live several hours away from Lexington but have noticed that the Cat fans living in my area are flocking to this game like it was old home days. Of course, they were saying the same things two years ago. Man, I hate Kentucky.

I read Catspause last night, and Rex was 100% correct. They think this game is a done deal and that we should'nt even bother showing up. The main concern I read last night were proper techniques on storming the field and reading the ensuing meltdown on UT boards after we lose...

Heck, one guy asked where he could preorder the commerative DVD of beating the streak last night.

It is all sad and pathetic.

Yes there is definitely a difference between 7-5 and 6-6. But I disagree with you a little more than just that. The bowl you get is very dependent on those games. I'd rather go to the Outback than the Sammich bowl or pizza bowl.. but that's just me. Tampa is 90 minutes away.

The handicapping software I use has the CATS as a l.5 point favorite. Since all the intangibles are on our side I like our chances in this game. I think the fact that we have a lot of players that played in a couple of games against UT that we could have won had things gone a little bit different is an extra motivator. This is a chance to redeem themselves from a close call or two, improve their bowl draw, and get this god awful monkey off of our backs.

CATS step up to the plate and hit a home run this time.

Im willing to bet that this game goes the same way as the Tide/Barner game. KY will come out fast and then fade. we win in the 4th.

Sad they would use a third party team to talk trash about Tennessee because they don't have enough merit to brag about their own team.

Uh... no.. last time we played at Commonwealth it was a night game... multiple overtimes.. you know.. THAT game... I was tired after that game. I was there, and it was the most emotionally draining UT game I have ever seen
