Someone wrote this a**clown is a "good coach." C'mon, a good coach? Maybe he knows Xs and Os but to my ear he blamed his players. He even said he anticipates players giving up...said some players will claim minor injuries are more serious than they actually are...said "I've seen't before...not my first rodeo..yada, yada, yada..." Even referred to his team as "they" instead of "we" or "us".

That's not something a good coach does, not publicly.

Watch any SEC coach's post-loss presser and show me someone with less class.

I must say as much as I hate Florida, I respect him as a coach.

The only thing that he could have done better was tell his players to be humble and to let play on field do talking.... well and find somewhere other than Florida or Alabama to coach.

The coaches that are least humble such as Muschamp are the ones that irritate me the most.

He fanned the flames; what was that Butte, Montana bs?

Ah! Thanks brutha!

Glad to help. Unfortunately, I just noticed that my link doesn't appear to be working, either. I think maybe some vids just won't play unless you watch them on the YouTube site. This might be one of them.

He just said, after a loss, some will feel sorry for themselves, so what was a minor injury becomes a " I can not practice today coach" injury. He says he wants to see players step up and learn from it... show what they are made of... true character.

He gave us (Tn) plenty of credit for the win. He was very complementary of Dobbs in particular imo.

McElwain is a completely different person in victory than defeat. This is the same man that said that Florida simply doesn't lose to Tennessee or something very close to that. He's arrogant and smug when he wins, fortunately he didn't so his meek church mouse persona was out there instead.

You mean once you lose the large majority of your starters on defense?

I noticed that too when they listed starters at beginning of game. All Juniors and Seniors is very unusual, I mean every team has at least 1 or 2 sophomores.

And at least a couple of the juniors will probably jump to the pros.

He was more gracious in defeat than in victory. I thought he gave a nice post game conference. He will be successful at Florida.

If we get an arm like Guarantano in next year to go with Jennings, Malone, Byrd, and P Will against UF's overrated DB's... we may give them a taste of their own medicine from back in the day, and go air raid in the Swamp in 17.

Malone will be playing on Sundays next year.

"I think they did a good job. They had a good plan. You know (inaudible / they gave us a) bunch we didn’t see before. But, there (were) some formational things and some motion things that were different than what they had done (weeks 1-3)– but that’s what you do in every game."

Good job, DeBord and Dobbs, Hurd, Kamara and WR's -- and OL !!

He won't be thrilled with JG either. The young man can sling the rock, and even though he may not have the power of Dobbs in the running game, he's elusive and quick.

Future looks bright for the Big Orange.

Go Vols!
