That doesn't look so bad right now since they are gonna beat Auburn on the road. I mean a 30 point loss is bad but at least we arent the only #1 team to get waxed by UF hitting a ton of 3's

Yes but near impossible. We likely could not have another loss and Auburn would need to have at least 3 and then there would need to be at least another team involved for some type of complicated tie breaker. Or Auburn would need to get beat 4 more times. Auburn will get beat again and 3 times is not that unrealistic as they play Alabama x 2, at TAM, at Kentucky, at Vandy and the still have Ole miss and Ark at home. Ark is playing better and they have NBA talent. Anyone can get beat at that ****** Vandy gym. We will see

Losing by 30 will never not look bad to me, no matter how good the team is. Even at the time I think we all knew it was an aberration, but it still looks bad for a top 5 team (number 1 then) team to get drilled by 30.

I say yes because in my eyes winning the tournament makes you the champs.
You play the regular season for seeding, and then you get on the court in the SEC tourney to who is the best that year.
I mean that's just how I feel about it.
I'd rather have a SEC championship than be on top when the official season ends . Same for football

yes, I mean, it's almost hard to say that our top 10 teams won't get in the tourney...I'm not sure who I'd kick out.

Forget the regular season title, just get into the top 4 so we get the double bye. Currently we are 7th

UF and UT can win it all or lose in the first round. Shooting will determine how it plays out. UT always bring their defense and UF has 4 bigs they can swap out.

We are not 7th, we are 5th. We just keep winning and we'll be fine. All of our losses have came in conference so that will affect our SEC seed, but not necessarily our NCAA seed ( just adding that, I know you didn't say anything about NCAA). We may end up being a 3 seed (maybe less, have to do the math/calculations) in the SEC tourney, but actually get a #1 seed in the the Big Toruney.

I see absolutely lot of people outside this site having Florida ahead of us come Monday.
Yes, they beat the #1 team but they only played once this week. So we had 2 wins to their 1, and we stomped them just 3 games ago.
They haven't been dropping teams in the top 5 unless they lose. So if Flordia does jump us and go to 3 then Duke is going to have to go below up us.

The results this week, and specifically Saturday, are going to mess with every voter’s mind. Many voters will legitimately try to use logic, while others will continue to vote according to their own personal bias. I’m of the opinion they will keep Auburn #1, but not sure about 2-5.
