Admit I watched the UCLA game, even just a few minutes.

I was stunned by the UCLA crowd (or lack of it) as most in attendance appeared to be Utah fans.

It did make more sense to me when I heard one commentator say something about UCLA having pre season training outside of LA in the desert somewhere. I suppose they were preparing for the home crowd noise.

Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.

Their last home sellout was November 2022 when USC came to the Rose Bowl.

Little known fact, the Rose Bowl is configured to seat about 91K for football, but UCLA puts up tarps over about 20K seats.

Average attendance the last few seasons has been about 45K.

LA fans have struggled with college football since the Pete Caroll days at USC...heck they've struggled with football in general. I was blown away they made the investment in SoFi to get the Rams that they made.

Capacity is 91,000. ESPN had attendance at 35,000. It almost seems like a bad idea to hire a running backs coach with limited experience and make him the head coach of a power 5 football team.

I think someone pointed out on Saturday night in the thread that the Rose Bowl is 26 miles away from campus. Certainly not the only reason but might be a bit of a factor for some of the attendance.
