UAB tickets reduced to half-price through the Athletic Dept. Face value be damned, dropped to $20 a pop. Just another feather in Hammy's cap.

Sarcasm noted. He made be blundering, but he was one of only 14 ADs in the country to turn a profit last year, so I'd find something more informed to criticize him about. Shouldn't be hard.

But the thing is... I checked and they're listed and being charged at $40/ticket.

And duckhook is pretty much outed as not a Vols fan. So, this was pretty much just a troll trolling a fickle fanbase.

w/ all the tv money, they should be in the $20-30 range every game ... how would anybody afford to take a family of four to every game? 4 tickets/parking/sod-ex-hoe/food and you're looking at $300 at least ...

those are future ticket buyers (kids) that aren't getting to go to every game ......

yeah I'm not gonna complain that the tickets to a nobody team is so cheap. I'd go and take all my friends if I could make it to Knoxville that weekend

Eh, I don't care whether it's true or not, and I sure don't keep up with who's been "outed" as a fan and who hasn't. It was worth a cheap joke at Mike Hamilton's expense.

No, it's definitely happening. It's only a selection of endzone tickets, but it's real. Reported by utsports and govolsxtra.

scheduling lowly uab is an embarrassment. Cutting ticket prices---probably the smart move to sell them. Otherwise, UT would eat all those tickets and get nothing.

Just ask "MikeHamiltonFan" and he'll tell you money and fan interest has never been higher or better; he just needs Hamilton to cook the books a little more first.

Thank the fanbase not Hamilton. There's a good reason UT has the 4th largest stadium in the country,
and it had nothing to do with Hamilton.
