My #1 worry was the offense this season. And it still is. Trying to look past the OL and JG, if there was a good way out ..... I'd take it - make the change. Not a fan of the game planning especially as it pertains to the passing game (I get it with the running game). I watched too many games in the past two days, to include the TN game, to see (or not see) the innovation in the passing game. Swing passes, slants, crossing routes and receivers/running backs isolated on linebackers seem to be rare sightings in the TN offense These don't require great amounts of time, or even great throws. Heck, with all the deep balls we've been throwing would you expect a come-back route or two? Anyway I did see our D get abused with this stuff though. Play calling was meh. Had it's moments. Week to week planning seemed to vary considerably.
I guess if I thought the offensive scheme, with an OL and better QB play could consistently score in the high 20s or even 30s on the better SEC teams - fine. I didn't see it this year, and have serious doubts it'll get there.
Will a change happen? No. I'd be surprised if it did.
