Rivals is saying that Paige is saying he will be here in the fall.....for now. But several players are saying that he is telling them he's gone.

Damn, if Paige goes to UTC, they're gonna have some pretty good athletes on offense for the first time in a while.

and if that happens, watch them have a winning "playoff worthy" record. The reason why i say that is because they are banned from the playoffs

Yeah, apparently the UTC football players aren’t any better in the classroom than they are on the field. They need to go the ETSU route and shut the football program down.

Paige told a bunch of his teammates yesterday that his is leaving for sure.

If Coleman ends up at UTC, if nothing else, he will help their academic performance numbers. The kid is is apparently good in the classroom. I assume he would more than likely be a 3 year starter as well.

If you cant make the grade in undergrad at UTC, then you are a complete joke.

Don't think we should criticize. I wouldn't exactly say UTK's academics are any tougher.

Definately not true. Standards are getting tougher and tougher at UT.

UT.....
"The middle 50 percent of the fall 2008 admitted class had score ranges of 1110-1290 (SAT-CR+M) or 25-29 (ACT) and a core high school GPA range of 3.38-3.99."

UTC....
"All first-time freshmen must meet one of the following high school grade point average and ACT/SAT combinations:
2.75 high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and a minimum 17 ACT composite (830 SAT composite).
or

Minimum 2.0 high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and a 21 ACT composite (990 SAT composite)minimum."

UTs is just an average, but still.

Congratulations. It's tougher to get into UTK, yes. But the classes are not any harder. I attended UTC my first year and transferred. I cannot tell a difference. I wasn't talking about admissions.

There was a large crowd at UTC blue/gold game sat. I think it was around 1500 people...which was more than any regular season game last year.

I am just saying, all you have to do is show up for class and study a little. If you get a free ride to college you should take advantage of it.

So, I'm confused. Is Tyler Maples leaving UT????
I think he made a mistake by picking UT over other options. He could be a starter at Kentucky or Vanderbilt by now.

I think that Maples and Paige are both leaving... I think Maples ends up at UTC if that is where Coleman goes.

Why is it only folks from Chattanooga use "UTK"?

There is ONE UT; it is in Knoxville. The "K" is redundant. Call Chattanooga what it is: Chattanooga; the Mocs, where BJ Coleman will matriculate in obscurity.
