He's the best DB on the team and instead we just keep him in the slot to block. He will end up leaving watch. He has already made a few hints on Twitter now and it's really really upsetting to see Butch run off all our good players!! How the hell is Wiggins not out there either? Instead we just watch Martin and Abernathy get torched all game. Smfh Butch has no idea what the hell hes doing and players are going to get frustrated and leave 😐

Elite coaches like Saban would use Byrd in so many ways.

Meanwhile, Butch looks clueless on what to do with him.

We have basically wasted a scholarship on Wiggins. Should have just signed a high school kid. Wiggins was good enough to start on better teams.

Ladies and gentleman of VolNation, the wheels are starting to fall off. Butch is losing some of the team. Byrd tweeted out a peace sign today, Wiggins tweeted out "I honestly don't have an answer, I don't," and JG tweeted "I just want an opportunity." That's not a good look.

Edit: Misquoted Wiggins originally and JG tweet was from a fake account. So just keep moving along, my entire post is garbage.

Not as bad as Martin and Abernathy but yeah. It's just frustrating because Byrd has elite athleticism and can jump so high. He's so fast and would instantly be our best corner. What is Butch doing???

This staff doesn't know how to manage talent. It's simply unforgivable that he is languishing on the sidelines. If this keeps up I would transfer if I were him

Did he even play yesterday? I understand paying your dues, etc but why bring him in to sit? I have to believe that he is good enough to be getting a few reps.

I was expecting to see at least one end around using Byrd. I've long felt he has NFL talent. Ironically CLS is the recruiter who flipped Byrd from Miami at the last minute and now won't get him involved in the offense. QD threw to Byrd twice against GT. 1st pass was batted by a LB and 2nd was thrown way behind Byrd. It's on CBJ. Byrd is one of my favorite players on this team. Transferring seems to be his only option and that'
s gonna reflect badly on Jones and Scott.

Sad how Martin lines up and leaves a big cushion. Every opposing OC uses plays against him. The reciever takes 2-3 quick steps downfield but stops and catches a quick pass and by that time a blocker gets to Martin and puts him on his butt or knocks him out of the play. I've seen good CB's line up tight and bump the receiver that disrupts the timing which leads to more sacks. Also Martin has seen it enough that you'd think once in a while he'd break on the ball and pick one off or at least break up a few. Coaching malfeseance as stated above.

Ya transfer would not surprise me

My guess would be Miami he flipped from there on signing day right?
