This thread is like asking an American if they would rather live in the US or Afghanistan.
Please allow me to offer my insight. I will list a couple of points.
1. Comparing the two does not make sense. Murray was an early enrolee and had a redshirt year. Bray was thrown to the fire as a true freshman. I do like that Dooley threw Bray out there in the second half of the season because it was the weakest part of the schedule and it allowed for Bray to get comfortable. Kudos to Dooley.
2. Bray is the definition of a Pro-style QB. I think he has the arm to make all the throws. Bray will have to mature to the level where he needs to recognize that his arm can also get you in trouble sometimes, athletic defenses will bait you to throw at them. He will need more experience to recognize the defense that gets thrown at him. Next year will tell us alot.
I think the kid is a star in the making, he has plenty of targets at WR. He will need solid o-line play though, his grandma can probably outrun him. That's the one thing I don't like from him because if you notice; most of the big plays are achieved when a QB can run away from defenders. One last thing, the kid will need to put some weight on him.
3. Murray will be the best QB in the SEC next year. The kid is a workaholic, the coaching staff has to kick him out of the film room. As you know, Murray can take off on you at anytime. That is the biggest thing I like about Murray. He has a solid arm but he's no Matt Stafford. The biggest thing I like about Murray is his leadership, we have not had a leader like Murray since the David Greene era. The players look up to him and respect him. Plus, I think everybody knows he has what it takes to be an SEC QB.
4. I don't care about where they go in the NFL draft. This about the college game. I want results at UGA, not whether you're a first rounder or not. Remember that UT and UGA both had a top draft pick in the NFL but neither achieved a NC. Peyton obviously achieved more.
5. Murray and Bray are 2 complete different style of QB's. Time will tell who achieves more.
