Tyler Bray No. 2 QB in KC

I might get flamed for this, but I don't think Mahomes will beat Bray. Who knows, maybe I'm dead wrong, but I don't see him fitting into a pro style offense the same way a 6'6" strong armed guy with a 4 year leg up on the playbook fits into that offense.

Blah blah blah mobility. Bray's had the odds stacked against him before in KC. He's outlasted both Aaron Murray and Kevin Hogan who were drafted in consecutive years to supplant him and he's outlasted Chase Daniel who has been in the league for almost a decade.

I think he will be okay. Patrick Mahomes is overrated IMO.

Mahomes isn't overrated. He was the most physically gifted QB in the draft.
I've watched every game the kid has played over three years and he is absolutely a unique talent. Not a lot of people know that yet due to a low level of exposure.

He's very gifted, but he has to practically learn football again. Kizer is almost just as gifted.

Mahomes is a great talent and is very coachable, it won't be long till Bray is back to number 3. GBO!!!!

And level of defense that Texas tech plays against!

Watched some of the Gruden camp on him, and he does not value the possession enough (gun slinger). I believe he is a little on the short side for a QB which does not help, not saying a shorter QB can not succeed in NFL, because there has been short QB successful, just makes more difficult. Combine that with not used to playing top defenses then playing against NFL defense.

EDIT: Of course Bray was considered a "gun slinger" too so...
