I for one am extremely happy about this upcoming season and think we have a legitimate shot to win the East. I would be even more excited about 2013 if everyone stuck around.

I know it is VERY unlikely that Bray, JHunt, Da'Rick, and CP all stick around for their senior year but if they do I think Bray would have a shot to be our first ever Heisman trophy winner, or atleast be invited to the ceremony. Either one would be a huge plus for the program. Agree or Disagree.

Would make it into a poll, but don't know how from my Droid.

Winning, yes. Being invited, who knows.

How many people can name (without looking it up) who was invited to this year's and last year's presentations? Not many, I'd bet.

yeh, maybe his senior year. we won't win the east next year. we have a good 3 teams in the division that are better than we are, until proven otherwise.

IF........and its a big IF.............If they stick around, and if we are in the hunt for the SEC, then maybe then, he might be mentioned as a dark horse for the Heisman, but I wouldn't hold my breath. If Peyton couldn't win it, I really don't see Bray coming close. We would almost have to be undefeated and ranked top 5 for him to be considered. Crazier things have happened...........(ehem RG3)

He has A LOT to prove before that ever happens. If it does, however, then that means we will have some darn good seasons coming up!!

Rg3 was a runner. Its getting harder for pro style qbs to win it. Look at luck. They just arent as exciting or popular as the dual threat guys.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Bray, but he has never faced Bama, LSU, SC (except mop up in 2010) or Ark. He didn't exactly light up the scoreboard against FL or GA. Before we start talking Heisman, he will have to beat more of these teams. I believe he can, but let's wait before offering him up for the big prize.

One thing's for sure, with the WR's he has at his disposal, he should have the numbers to be in the discussion.....but he'll also need to WIN.

Here's hoping he does it.

Completely disagree. I like the optimism, but you really need to look at the schedule before you make a prediction like this. We play on the road at Bama, UF, and Oregon in 2013. All three of those schools have had better recruiting classes than us overall the past 3 years. We would be lucky to only lose two of those games, which would more than likely put any one of our players out of the Heisman race. Regardless, it will be extremely hard not to lose less than 3 games that year.

People really need to tone down their expectations. It's unrealistic for any of our players to win the Heisman that year. DaRick is more than likely gone after next year, who knows about the other three, I expect Bray and CP will be back.

He is the best we have had in a very long time. If he gets help from a running game then I agree. But I highly doubt they will be back. (unfortunately)

Let's (1) get a winning record (2) get in the top #25 (3) win a bowl game, first. Then let's talk about the East or the S.E.C.

This is not true. Coming off a 5-7 season, if they can win 10 games he will be in serious contention IMO. Peyton would have had to go undefeated, b/c our teams were powerhouses in the 90's, not so now. A big jump from 5 wins to 10 would be plenty, if he had a good showing in every game.
