I know he will miss his friends and teammates here, but that would have to be a breath of fresh air for him to leave this dumpster fire and join a top 15-20 team with an established coaching staff. Best of luck to him.
UNC is losing both of their big time RBs to the NFL. Huge void there that Ty will help fill. He’s an ok back going to a great offense. I expect he’ll put up some good numbers. Good luck to Ty. Always felt like he gave his all and ran as hard as he could every down. Wish we could have used him more appropriately while he was here.
I bet Mack Brown makes him into an ACC Player Of The Year candidate, or All-ACC at the very least. Remember when Peterson went to Pitt and he started putting up good numbers in that conference? He went from deer in headlights to practically being a 3000 yard passer and 30TDs. He will finally get to experience what it’s like to play for a great coach and be in a great culture. I think he chose a great situation to go to and wish him all the success in the world.
