'20 TX RB Zachary Evans

The recruitment of Houston (Texas) North Shore five-star running back Zachary Evans has seen Ole Miss and Tennessee pushing down the stretch.

USC was a school mentioned as a place Evans reached out to but it seems the Trojans are locked in on trying to win the recruitment of four-star all-purpose back Michael Drennen Jr. out of Ohio.

LSU has moved on, landing Top247 running back Kevontre Bradford. And Georgia on Thursday landed four-star Daijun Edwards, which might mean the Bulldogs have officially moved on.

Does another school rise up here?

UGA just took Edwards as RB

If UGA would be in the hunt for a RB coach? Dell isn’t going anywhere unless it’s HC of a school. As for Graham, love the hire. Think it’s perfect timing, some stud RBs in NC this year and last few years. Graham’s recruiting territory? Yep, NC.

As for Monken, grand slam. It would be hard to find any OC that has had a top offense in college and the NFL. If you just take his own ingredients at Southern Miss at what he can do, in 2015, he had Two 1,000 yard back, Three 700+ WR and a 4,000 yard passer while avg 500/ypg. If he stays just two years, he can teach Buster Faulkner (USM OC who came as analyst) to be replacement.

Conference USA success doesn’t automatically mean SEC success. His offenses at Tampa avg 10th in yds/gm and 16th in pts/gm, not exactly tops in the nfl but not bad either. Offense in Cleveland was 22nd in both metrics. Think it might be a reach to say grand slam hire.

His offenses at OK State were very good though

Jay Graham has to close with this one. We can’t let him pick Ole miss smh

While it's true of all recruits, this one especially we will not be "letting him" do anything.

He's let opportunities to play at Clemson, Bama, etc, pass right by, logical choice or any other normal factor has no bearing here.

He did take over the #2 offense in the country from Holgerson at OSU and they returned almost every one and had like a 28 year old QB.
