TX QB Kaidon Salter (Liberty signee)

He's supposed to be a good thrower, from Elite 11.
Tbh he did not look good in the portion they aired live. That said, they saw a ton more and he finished ranked, so...

Either way it doesn't sound like his HS offense has changed much. Either deep throws or screens or he runs. We will have our work cut out teaching him a full offense and all the mid throws, but MAN does he have the intangibles and arm.

They don't have much of an o-line if y'all watched the game. Shemar turner is nasty. My concern is the amount of runs he has. He wants to throw and they want him to throw but he just isn't allowed time. He is a gamer. FYI Desoto was only giving up 8 points a game. Their last game they absolutely destroyed 4 star Shedeur Sanders.

Salter plays Duncanville next week. This will be his biggest test of the year. Duncanville is a top 10 team in the country and has a linebacked going to Bama.

I like the fact that Bailey and Salter have came from two of the best areas for high school football talent in the country.

And he believes the Vols have a bright future. They currently have 26 commitments in a 2021 recruiting class that’s ranked No. 10 nationally in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite team rankings.

“Lot of big 2021 recruits coming out, and we’re recruiting some more 2022s,” Salter said. “We’re going to turn up Tennessee once everybody gets there, most definitely.”
