Do players retain the year of eligibility? If so, teams will have one year of space for two incoming classes. Can't recruit for spots that don't exist.

No way the NCAA lets those players be eligible unless they are grad transfers. It would be insanity and school has just started. Plus those conferences would be destroyed. No guarantee the other 3 power conferences will play either.

My guess is realignment will happen, and teams who end up playing this fall, won't play in the spring.

Read somewhere that grant rights have everyone locked in to their conference officially til 2023.
