'20 TX OG Kyree Miller

He keeps this up, he'll leapfrog Robinson and he'll no longer be the lowest-ranked non-specialist commit in this class

Robinson should actually be higher on the composite...he has the exact same ratings as Spraggins on all three sites but he’s a .8498 and Spraggins is a .8646

Welcome aboard!!!!

Meanwhile, Tennessee did add a commit this week, with Kyree Miller pulling the trigger just 48 hours removed from his official visit, committing to UT over SMU. Miller is huge (6-4, 365) and super raw, but he’s had a really strong senior season and the staff believes he’s capable of playing right tackle, should he get his weight down to 330. Miller admitted that’s been hammered into him already and a real goal for his arrival this summer.

It's only because he is committed to a big time power 5 program. Kid is not all that good.
Be careful .. don't make a judgement even though you may have been a college coach or something . The experts on here will jump you .. the kid is raw .. he may play as a redshirt soph .. but 2 years at the least after Morris and Wright leave ....

Any update from Jordan? You have to think this helps the chances of flipping him. Tx has had a couple decommits recently, more coming. They are looking at 6-6 if they lose this weekend. They are worried Robinson flips as well.
No real updates but Austin Price said the other day that the Vols haven't stopped recruiting Jordan and he's close with Miller.

I just looked it up...Robinson is actually ranked higher nationally by 247 than Spraggins...

If any of you all have a 247 subscription will you point this discrepancy out to Simmons or someone else...gotta get our boy his props!!

Good article about this kids recruitment as well as a segue to Solomon. It was a few days ago on A to Z Nashville...

My guess is the hammered part indicates his deal may be conditional on his condition before his signing and faith that our training staff and nutrition folks can transform him after arrival. I am guessing that his take is based on his surprising quickness at his current weight being improved yet again with less load to move around and could turn into a real monster at the new weight. Definite risk/reward in play here and I imagine the calculation includes a redshirt and maybe even another developmental year to get back two to three years of impact play if the staff analysis is correct... just don't see blind reaches before the first signing day,,,,,,not in our staff DNA,
