If you spend every football season complaining about how they don't call holding, after 10 or 15 years wouldn't you start to wonder at least a little bit about the finer points of legal holding? I played football 40 years ago, and they told me where I could hold and how to do it.

I kept seeing this happen on so my plays that I decided I just didn't understand the rule. But, the bama player wrapping up JJ in the end zone causing a bobble was ridicurous.

No flags of course. This was the play where Tua went Tango Uniform. Terrible. Every single play just like this!

Great pics. I would also love to see the so called Tim Jordan hold. Even though the refs said No. 64. And No. 64 Wanya didn't hold but he plowed his man 5 yards down field on that play. Darnell Wright got beat by Lewis a couple times. Wright went too far inside and got off balance. Next year he will bulldoze Lewis to the ground. This OL is beginning to become outstanding!!!

Alabama gets away with more holding than any team out there. They just don't call it on them. Been that way for years. I don't think you'll see much change until Saban is gone. He gets favoritism because they've proclaimed his dirty cheating azz a god. That and he's real good buds with Mark Emmert. The SEC league offices are in Birmingham. Whole state is broke as hell and depend on the State football team for revenue. Connect the dots.

Right, and that’s still how it is. You can hold the front of the jersey inside the shoulders all day. Which is fine with me. Get outside of that and it’s supposed to be called

The amount of uncalled holds last night was obnoxious. But I still haven’t seen the Tim Jordan phantom hold that cost is a JJ TD.
Was it Jordan? I thought they called it on Morris? I know for fact, Morris wasn’t holding, he was just driving his man down field. I’d have to go back and watch Jordan. My guess is it’s probably bogus on him as well.
GBO!!

I was stunned when they stopped that play. Unreal.
And not one single explanation given as to why play was stopped. There is no doubt in my mind that we would’ve punched it in the end zone on that drive. We had bama on their heels and were gaining serious momentum!
GBO!!

When I was watching the game Morris did not hold anyone, but Jordan who was the last block on the Left in front of JJ was questionable. But they did call it on Morris.
