I post a few weeks ago Jalen was 6'-3" 228 lbs & that is what he weighted that night at the Gym.



Yes! One of my old training partners (heavy weight Mr Tennessee 5 years ago) has started training young athletes in the Goodlettsville area. At the present time he is working with Jalen, he was telling me he really works hard in the gym & all his strength is in his hips & legs

I will vouch for this. My girlfriends brother is a trainer at Mpower in Franklin. Hurd has been in a few times. He said Hurd trains hard!

Hurd would have to drop 20 or so spots by NSF to not be a 5 star. Btw, just to let you know how good this kid is: the entire Beech OL, although seniors, were first year starters last season - not to mention that their average size was only 215 lbs. Beech's district is consistently one of the best in 5A-6A, and they beat defending champs Henry County last year. Oh, and he sat out 2 whole games this year. As a lifelong Gallatin fan and fiancée of a beech cheerleader, I hate the Bucs as much as most Hendersonville fans. But Hurd is elite.

More to the point, congrats to the kids that got bumps. Even though it ultimately means nothing, it's good that they are getting recognition for their hard work.

He's not 220. Rivals has him at 210, and Scout has him at 212. If you've seen his videos, this appears accurate. Just because you want to believe something is true, doesn't make it true. You may believe he should be a 5 star. He's not. Rivals and Scout have him at a 4 star. Just try to remain objective.

Alot of the posters like that are just trolls.....sad sad souls that support other teams but come on here to get under our skin. I guess their fanbase kicked them out so they decided to come here. Enjoy the show that is volnation this year!

Just watch their videos. Fournette is a man-beast. Hurd is excellent as well, just not a 5 star. Turns out I was right. Rivals and Scout have him a 4 star. Also, please show me some study or evidence that TN high school football is in the same class as Louisiana, Texas, or Florida. I'm curious as to where you are getting your data from.

Sorry but I put more stock in 247sports ratings and he is a 5* there already. By the time NSD arrives, Hurd will be a solid 5*, easily.

I did not compare TN to Texas or Florida. All I said was Fournette's HS. Dude plays in an all Catholic league. Beech HS is one of the best in TN. I am not doubting Fournette's talent because he is a beast, but saying Hurd is not a stud is not a 5* stud is insane. Numbers don't lie.
