heupels offense is gonna change everyone’s approach to the game. It’s innovative; the way his formation is set up is so unique. He spreads out his players and it opens the whole field. Most of the time it’s one on one. This isn’t an air raid or spread offense. This is some next level stuff. On top of all of that, they run the ball effectively. Man, wait until we have more depth. We gotta pay him some big bucks! Goodness, we are gonna be groovy for a long time. I’m still in shock. Feelin like there is a catch or something, haha. WE BEAT BAMA!!

Back in 2000, a Senior QB led the Oklahoma Sooners to a National Title.

If I’m not mistaken, Oklahoma started the season ranked #20 and beat 4 top ten teams in the old Big XII.

Each of those matchups, ESPN college GameDay was there (whether home or away). Lee Corso consistently picked the opposing team to beat Oklahoma.

Heupel knows what it’s like to be doubted from way back.

Listen, I love where we are. TOOOOTALLY love it. I'm enjoying every minute of it.

And for that reason, I'm not skipping forward to thinking about whether we're a play off team. I don't want to miss a minute of this season.

I can't wait to play UT-Martin. Because I don't want to miss those 60 minutes of Vols football. I want to live and experience and feel every one of those 60 minutes.

And then the next week, same thing against Kentucky. I want to revel in those 60 minutes for as long as I possibly can.

And then the week after, with UGa.

And so on.

I'll start seriously thinking about the SEC championship and the playoffs some time while we're playing Vandy. That's soon enough.

I have Aerosmith in my head right now, I guess. But I just don't wanna miss a thing.

Go Vols!
One game at a time. That's how I believe this team handles it and the rest will take care of itself.
