I’m looking to upgrade my tailgating TV game next year. We brought a TV to the tailgate this year and just used an HD antenna, which limited is to mostly network channels. Tried the firestick, but it just kept buffering. Also, it’s an older TV, so if I need to get a newer TV, I’m not opposed.

What are y’all’s suggestions on the best way to get a TV feed so we can watch all the channels? I have YouTubeTV as my provider and also subscribe to ESPN+, so my question is mostly about how to get reception and feed to the TV. TIA.

Sorry I missed this until now.

I park at the garage by Mount Castle Park and then tailgate in the park. Got a new Roku TV and I’m going to try this method. Thanks.

I tried to stream off my hotspot on iphone last season but in and out but tailgated further out year before with no problems. It depends on location but always have an antenna for backup and can watch ABC,CBS, FOX and NBC then use iphone on youtube app at times. Years ago I had dish tailgater but it died and not worth aggervation.

I park at G10, and do this. Works fine up until 2 hours prior to the game. Starts to slow down and eventually freezes. But it’s all good through gameday/etc in the morning.

I run Roku through a designated mifi hotspot from Verizon. Works flawlessly.
I ran both of mine off the rocky top WiFi this past Saturday. Worked perfect. Never slowed down at all. Of course it was an afternoon game, so that might change at 5pm on Alabama weekend, but this past Saturday it was great.

Where...G10?
Next to stadium.
We started with a space in G10. The older we got the farther away our space was from the stadium. We never received a request for a larger donation. Just kept moving us.
UT finally won after 19 years, and we gave up our season tickets. 22 yd line, row 44. Meh
