In the second half with around 10 or 12 minutes to go, we get the game tied. Insert McBee. Result: three consecutive open threes due to his ineptness at the defensive end. I'm sure he's a good kid, but he needs to see no minutes.

I seem to remember him hitting a game winner for your beloved Vols.... No one was beating him up them...

Hitting a big shot last year doesn't change what has happened since. I was for Pearl giving him his opportunity with a scholly this year. But I have to admit, there is such a huge dropoff at that position. Hopefully Bone will make a difference there. Maybe the lineup shifting that CBP mentioned in postgame is a more likely answer. But that all depends on whether Maymon cancarry the load starting at four so Harris can move to three.

But, you are forgetting his deadly range! Oh wait, McBee? Nevermind.

Seriously, I knew this kid was a bad idea when all the yokels got on their "well, a local kid will play better because he has pride for Tennessee" BS. Pearl succombed to the pressure and idiodically gave him a free ride for three years, then keeps playing him.

Otherwise, are you telling me that Jordan McRae can't play defense or shoot, either? At least we'd get a promising freshman who can offer a lot more than McBee. It just aggravates me that we have two and half more years of this crap. He's the Stephen Garcia of UT b-ball, a mediocre player who takes 15 years to go through the system.

McRae couldn't possibly be worse defensively than McBee. And, if he can just not turn the ball over, he'd already be an improvement over McBee offensively.

So you'd rather play daddy ball with Steven Pearl?

Thats because half the damn team was suspended after the Smith incident, and McBee had to play. At that moment, his pt was demanded. Any contribution was a plus.

Stupid comparison.

Seriously, if Bone and McRae aren't playing by February, I'm pulling a Jeff Gillooly on Little Pearl and McBee. Will you bail me out if I agree to do it?

Put it this way, if McBee were a GRE question, it would be Syler equals a 3 point specialist as an impotent man equals a porn star.

Why don't you explain to everyone what McBee brings to the table since you think he's so deserving of minutes.

Didnt say he deserved anything, play the hand your delt. Obviously UT has no better option than McBee at the moment.

So, you think McBee is better than McBee? Interesting.

When UT fills its roster with quality talent rather than a little talent here and there then you wont have to complain about players like McBee.

Harris, and Golden are about all they have.
