I really hope IndyCar can capitalize on this movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Much better than Cars.

I really wanted to see it right after I saw a teaser poster, but from the previews I've seen I'm not impressed at all. I'll probably catch it on PPV or Redbox though.

Other than an introduction to kids about IndyCars. I would have loved this movie when I was a kid. As an adult, yeah it's cheesy and easy to nitpick the details.

The only thing I don't understand is why they didn't release the movie around the same time as the 500.

For the most part it is but the way I understand it (I haven't seen it yet) it's supposed to tie into the Indy 500 a lot. Hopefully it will spark some interest in the race and the series.
