Bring Kiffin home? I'm pretty sure he was born in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I'm all in favor of the Huskers bringing Lane Kiffin home, and leaving Scott Frost to us.

Kiffin's my number 1 as well. Kevin Steele is no 2 ATP for me.They (AD & Haslam's)seem hellbent on a mediocre coach.

I'm sorry. I don't have my crystal ball to know whether Kiffin would have led Bama to wins vs Auburn or Clemson.

What I do know is he was 5-15 in Oakland (fired), 7-6 at UT (quit), 28-15 at USC(Fired), and is 9-3 at Florida Atlantic. I realize that he is a legend in his own mind but I'm not so sure anybody really knows how good he is.

Sure seems that if you are bad in the NFL, you are a very decent, if not great coach in college.

And you are not dealing in reality if you think that he wouldn't be a good hire here.

He would have a better roster and easier schedule than what he took over in 2009.

He's obviously older and smarter and regrets leaving UT the way he did.

I find it funny with people like you. Saban was literally willing to hire and overhaul his offense with Kiffin. And it won him a natty and he gave one away this past season by relieving Kiffin to go to FAU.

Think about that, Kiffin wanted to stay on and coach in the playoff. Saban told him no after the UW Semifinal and went on to blow a natty vs Clemson.

If Saban is wiling to hire and vouch for the guy, I can handle him coming back especially when he's on the record stating his exit was regrettably unfortunate.

I think everyone agrees that he's an genius as an OC. The real question is: Did his stent at Alabama under Saban teach him anything about being a HC?

If so, then I think it is pretty likely that he will continue to win where he is until someone gives him a bigger stage. And, someone will as soon as next year if not this year.

Wooooo lets bring him home Nation. The 2009 season was funner than hell you got to admit.
This is very true bruddah. Even the NBA sucking ESPN was talking about UT football in the off season. Kiffin will bring energy. Something we sorely lack.
