Trying to upload an excel file

I've been trying to upload excel files here for basketball recruiting board, but any time I go to attachments and try to upload, it says invalid file. It's only 11KB in size. Can anyone help me out?

Did you get it to upload? I was thinking maybe the extension was changed somehow and wasn't named as an xls.file.

Need to check to see whether that's the Office 03 or 07 version. Also check for xlsx file extensions.

Yup, I got it. Switched the workbook to 2003 excel workbook.
