1. From wk1-wk2 we made huge improvements in all areas except QB play.
2. The JG from last year has yet to resurface.(if he ever does)
3. BYU is comparable to Miss St, Mizzou, USCjr, UK, and Vandy in that they are all very beatable if QB play improves even just slightly. That’s 5 games very winnable with UTC & UAB thrown in there. So 5-7 to 7-5 is in the realm of possibility.

The way I see it is there is improvement and leadership starting to show out there. Add Bituli in with To’oto’o and they will have us lined up correctly 9/10 times I would be willing to say. Defensive line got pressure on the QB, I think 4 sacks, a number of hurries, and showed great improvement. O-line showed huge improvement in pass pro and run blocking. Secondary was O.K. Until the end of the game. All skill positions are great IMO. JG is the pendulum that’ll either swing us into the worst season possible, or he will swing us into our first bowl game in years. I feel so much better about every position group than I did last year except for QB, and we all know how important the QB is. Realistically we could go 2-10 or 7-5 and in my mind it’s all about steady improvement game to game, and about improvement in the QB position. Whether it’s JG or one of the other 2 guys. I know I’m being a glass half full guy, but after BYU I wanted to quit. I threw my hat, threw my remote, and slammed my recliner so hard with my hand that it moved like 4 feet. I was as negative as a person could be. Today I’m trying to be positive, and hope that this team can turn it around. I know the talent is there, so if things can improve we can get to at least a 6-6 season and a bowl like we all want. Just wanna believe we can, and I just wanna have a reason to watch us every Saturday. I know I’m not the only one feeling this way. Love you volnation and I hope these bad times get turned around!

We are bad right now only time will tell if they can turn it around this year....Who knows maybe the lights come back on for JG? Hopefully we get our first Win Saturday....from this point forward I won’t take wins for granted!

BYU is not very good. Northern Illinois gave Utah just as much a game as BYU did. Once you factor that into the equation. the supposed improvement evaporates. We are probably a 2-win program this year and a lot of that, probably most, is on the coaches not the players. Despite all that, you can still enjoy the season. I'm smiling right now.

Crazy to think that we're actually going to break the hearts of some Mocs fans who think they're perfectly positioned to pull an upset.

At the end of the day, if the team buys in and keeps their heads down and keeps working, ignoring the outside noise, though we may not be where we want to be, we may look up at the end of the season and notice some real improvements and wins we didn’t expect...as long as we learn how to not snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

How do you figure that byu is on par with all those sec teams? That sounds a bit like a "make me feel better out the current state" statement.
What sec teams is georgia st on par with?
They're not. Anybody else beats them bad except us. I get tge trying to stay positive threads. I'm just interested to see what they're gonna say Saturday after we struggle to beat chatanooga
