The major change in Jalen Hurd over the past three years is that he significantly slower and less explosive than he was. As Freshman he was lighter and much more explosive. He now weights 30 pounds more and is to slow to be an effective tailback. He will never be a running back in the pros, he is much more suited to tight end and even then he would not be as fast as many TE in the show.

The only thing that happened to Jalen is bad advice from family/friends. I hope it doesn't ruin his chances in the NFL.

Truth is he hasn't been the same since he got lit up at UGA. I think his "lower extremity" injury may have something to do with a lack of testicular fortitude.

Truth is the entire team is soft and slow. Lack of S&C coach has killed this team. No push anywhere . butch never should have ran the old one off. Entire fan base and families of players should be outraged. Not too many teams lose 15+ guys to injury

He may have been hurt and all, which is understandable, but also gut tells me when Kamara and Kelly start getting carries and having success, this got ramped up...which begs the question...it he a team guy, or all out for himself. Seems answer is pretty apparent. This can go one of two ways. Guys can pull themselves together, still with good core talent pool, or pack it in, and have a pitty party that "the world's not fair". Just have to wonder if some of this same attitude isn't resonating on the OL. This is why Butch making the big bucks. Will see if he is a "coach" or not. Am betting will be OK...as long as we're saying 9-3 is OK??? This is a big "flier" thought, but "what if" we win out, and UF loses to LSU and Ark, and we back into the championship game. We have plenty of issues, but the season's not over. We are what we are right now... middle of the pack SEC team, muddled with others. Need to get thru the season and get someone who can pass and block for next year, and will be better team next year. Man, I'm sick of "wait till next year"...

I thought he was suffering from a concussion. No shape to make decisions like this. Sit out a game or two and think it over.

I agree with most of what you're saying. Outside of the "back into the championship game". For me, all teams should play the same amount of games and at the end the record is the record. Not such thing as backing in, IMO. Just like the crowd that will say our record should be this or that, well our record is what it is and nothing else really matters. Like golf, it's not how but how many.

Ha!

Yeah...he clocked at 22 miles per hour this summer.

Or did you forget that?

Y'all just don't want to accept that this $hitty offense is a problem.

There are plenty of distance runners who can run fast but it takes them a while to hit top end. Jalen was not nearly as explosive as he has been. A '71 Impala wagon and a '71 Hemi Cuda could both hit 120 but the Cuda got there alot quicker.

I don't believe that. How can it work for others? Logically it is not the offense.
