The Democrats have disowned Clinton. He’s the outlier of both parties. Without him in the mix there’s no real difference in the parties on spending. One gives lip service to fiscal responsibility and the other doesn’t. But they ultimately both spend like there’s no tomorrow.
Yeah, I know

For me:
Voted FOR Reagan twice. If candidates get bad enough, I could do for him what my grandaddy did by writing in FDR until the 70s.

Voted for Bush twice. Second time was more partisan than the first because the No New Tax thing pissed me off, but not enough to vote D.

1996 Voted for Dole/against Clinton. Meh.

Voted for W twice. Regretted voting for him the 2nd time because of the overboard spending in the 2nd term and going along with/allowing policies out of Congress that led to the crap show.

2008 Voted against Obama's socialism. This was the closest I came to voting D. Couldn't stand McCain, but knew Obama wanted to lead the country down the primrose path to greater socialism and had no clue as to what McCain stood for. My statement was I threw up in the booth and voted McCain.

2012 meh. Obama wanted to drive towards greater socialism 75 mph while Romney only wanted to go 25. Voted against the faster speed.

2016. Voted against Hillary and the Washington ruling class as they all could have cared less about everyday people. Trump was a disruption and I voted for that.

2020 Voted not so much for Trump but to continue sticking it in the eye of the ruling class and against someone with obvious problems.

2024 voted for Trump against an incompetent idiot. Frankly, I think he's doing a good job this time around.

Ps. Never voted for Trump in a primary.

I don’t know what your standard is for “bad enough”, but if you haven’t jotted Reagan’s name down by now, you aren’t going to.

It was getting there. I've been surprised though at how effective Trump has been. Yeah, some things have not been peachy, but even some of the things everyone was pearl clutching about are now simmering down. I honestly was really concerned his second term would be the circus the first one was. Think he had time to reflect, had a plan for Day 1 and has executed.

Border: shutdown cold.

Illegals: aggressively being deported on a daily basis.

Inflation: has actually dropped for the last two months and latest was 2.4%. Have to wonder if it wasn't lower for a possible reason it would always be revised up for Biden: democrats running the numbers.

The world has been served notice we're open for business, but not deals where we get crapped on constantly.

Seems to be making headway in foreign affairs.

Driving those with TDS absolutely frothing-at-the-mouth nuts. Win!
