Trump to sign national security funding bill, then declare State of Emergency

Jesus, Mary and Joseph are you serious? You know what? Your question really isnt worth a discussion. If you dont see a huge issue with a person being able to walk up to a counter and saying, yes can you give me an 8 ball of your finest Columbian blow, then you need to have an MRI asap.

In your case, relative to whether they have a "D" or an "R" next to their name.
I take it you didn't understand the question.
The latter. Republicans who were outraged by Bill Clinton's behavior are now chuckling at Trump and vice versa.

We are still laughing, poking fun, and condemning the people that were outraged by Bill that are now Fine with Trump's moral depravity. You really don't see the outrage from non-Trump supporters about Trump's behavior, you see people calling out that hypocrisy from that same moral authority.

Did I miss where Trump carried out an extramarital affair with a subordinate in the Oval Office, then lied about it under oath? Don't get me wrong, I think Trump is morally bankrupt, but his and Bill's situations are not as alike as some like to pretend. To use LG's term, Trump is a "douche canoe". Still not a valid reason for impeachment.

If morality is going to be the new standard for Presidency, our country is screwed. Neither Trump nor any of the declared Dem candidates for 2020 would meet the standard.

In before Luther shows up babbling about his continuum.

Trying to make a distinguishment that Bill is worse than Trump on the moral depravity scale is exactly what I'm talking about. Good Job reinforcing my statements. I'm sure you also want to throw in Porn Star payoffs and possible campaign finance violations from a man that refuses to be put under oath. Does Bill have worse morals than Trump?

Vol 8188s views are amongst the most insane I have ever seen. If it were up to him, anyone could walk into Walgreens and buy pure heroine and meth along with their bottles of oxycontin and fentanyl.

Where is your arbitrary line of government regulatory overreach and personal freedom and liberty? Nicotine and alcohol are variably addictive and harmful and yet are available at Walgreens, yet no outrage.

The problem is the effort to paint with a large brush.
is he painting with a large brush, or are you reacting with a broad brush? The only part of his immigration speeches that gets brought up is when he brings up the violent elements. And then its usually misconstrued to apply to all immigrants.

the way I see it, the people reacting to his speeches on either side are all guilty of the same thing.

No, a wall is stupid and will do little to prevent murder, Rape and Drugs. Don't coddle the idea.

Dude, Trump has absolutely no redeeming qualities, he is a petty self serving person, but you like his policies. Does that sum up your stance? For the people that don't even like his policies we can say he is the worst President ever and be 100% correct. If you have not been able to determine the Deep Character Flaws of Trump by now with the broad brush of reality, you never will.
not even close. Bush and Obama stole freedoms away from Americans, and did to the sound of applause.
I may dislike more of what Trump does, but nothing he has done has come close to the injustices of the Patriot Act, or ACA.

Trump is basically trying to go around the democratic process. But yeah, health care is super evil.

How did the Patriot Act change your behavior and "freedoms" or is it something just to bitch about?

I would ask you to prove your claim, but we both know you cant.

Because they kill you real slow. Add in after prohibition that these major recession proof commodities sell like hotcakes and makes the manufacturers mammoth goliaths in the economy.

Dying on the first use isn't good business. Plus, if you don't die you are one ugly strung out horrid looking lost soul, and that is hard to sell.

I don't think anything besides weed should be legal, people are too stupid. People have no sense of what they can handle and are/or capable of dealing with. However, I also feel like it's your right to be a dumbass and if you wanted to jump off the side of a mountain so be it, who am I to stop you.

My thing would be if you legalize everything, remove all safety nets and governmental money to any and all remedies of the poor decision that person made. No rehab in court, straight to jail. You do heroin, go to the courthouse and register that you are using heroin, and you either check box one for recessitate me if I die and I'll pay for all costs associated with doing so, and if I can't I pay off my debt somehow, or I go to jail. While in jail, you want rehab, you have to pay for it. Or box 2, let me die I'm fully aware and responsible for my choices.

If you legalize these things, then you really need to hold the users accountable more so than ever before, and there is no "mercy" or empathy or sypmathy, it's real black and white and ultimatley only the user is responsible for their bad choices, not society or government. Good luck with people accepting this.

Clinton's moral depravity was in office. So far none of Trump's has been.

I don't care if Bill is banging every 18 yo he sees now, as long as she consents. But the same thing in office is different.

I am 100% against his national emergency. I said so before, and will say so again. If he gets impeached for it, I won't shed a tear, and would probably applaud it. The selective misplaced outrage is amusing to watch.

a wall is neither moral, or immoral. it just is. health care is neither moral or immoral on its own either.

the means/methods to both were wrong. If Trump backed a piece of legislation that he lied about, didn't work, cost the tax payers money directly, didn't disclose the full measure of the bill, and required that everyone participate in, and shut down the government to get, and provided a worse end result than the beginning, would you say that was a "good" bill or an "evil" one?

right to privacy. 4th Amendment. giving the government the ability to spy on citizens without legal standing is wrong.

remember the back door all of the alphabet wants/got implemented into every American cell phone? same goes for pretty much any other data they keep track of.

Dude you give your right to privacy away freely with just a click. Everything you listed is anecdotal. How has the Patriot Act affected your behavior and freedoms? What do you do differently now?

Didn’t work? So why have Republican efforts to repeal it been deeply unpopular?

Yah. My wife gives me the right to her goodies all the time as well. That doesn't give the government right to take that either.
