Apparently so. This on the heels of Mueller's proclamation that "POTUS is not under criminal investigation (at this time)". Was this just jockeying to get POTUS to volunteer for an interview? Both sides of the debate as to whether Mueller's empaneled Grand Jury can subpoena a sitting POTUS are emphatic in their positions. Caution by Mueller?

I think he will provide written answers to questions. His lawyers should be shot if they allow him to be deposed.

Replying to interrogotaries in writing does not release Trump from replying truthfully. It does provide the luxury of Trump answering in private and apart from those who have prepared the questions and is less embarrassing than the potential need to continuously go "off the record" while counsel explains everything to POTUS.

I'm not sure it will matter. Trump has no qualified criminal counsel at this moment; and, Jay or Cohan representing POTUS would not be much of an improvement over POTUS representing himself due to their collective criminal inexperience. Should Mueller subpoena POTUS to testify before the Grand Jury, POTUS would have to appear without counsel

we just learned about the Mueller thing but he told team Trump a month ago he was not the subject.

Trump certainly has done dumb things but talking to Mueller would top the list.

Don't need to imagine. Saw Clinton do it on tv.

No **** sherlock

Impressive. Some of you guys have have some really slick 8th grade comebacks

Watch some of the speeches from the kids in Washington. They'll show you how it's done.

There are 3 components to learn from. Wisdom, maturity and class. Judging from your post, and your post alone, you are ought for three.

Perjury trap. Don’t do it. There’s no crimes to talk about.
In regards to obstruction, Article 2 protects the president from discussing anything.
Got nothing.
Needs to be wrapped up.

I’ll be the first to call Trump and his attorney’s idiots if so. There’s no reason to speak to “prosecutors”, there’s no evidence of crimes committed that we’re aware of.

He is gonna lie. He's a pathological liar of course he is going to lie. But here is the thing. What exactly are you concerned he will lie about?

At least YOU added the appropriate disclaimer.
This has been a complicated case. Just the lying by Trump campaign team members has lengthened the investigatory time by itself.

Did Mueller let those team members, other than Manafort, off with essentially a wrist slap because they had nothing to offer further up the totem pole.

As Trump likes to say, time will tell

So far it's only circumstantial evidence, but when taken in the aggregate there is a sh!tload of itand their will be reasons proven, IMO, that will end Trump's first term prematurely

Not sure you understand how this works.

You can tell the truth, and be indicted.
When you’re story contradicts another person that they believe. This is how prosecutors INDUCE crimes.

Is there something specific you are concerned he will lie about?
