Trump close adviser Kushner loses access to coveted intelligence briefing - sources

In a bizarre tweet, John Podesta warned Trump advisor Jared Kushner that he “better start wearing his kevlar on his back”

“Seems like those “unnamed sources peddling second-hand hearsay with rank speculation that continue to leak inaccurate information,” came straight from 1600 Penn,” said Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chairman. “Jared better start wearing his kevlar on his back.”

The Trump supporters will insist forever that there is no problem with Kushner having had access to this info and that his failure to achieve clearance is not an indication of anything wrong, whatsoever.

If it turns out as time goes by that they are wrong, and that is does matter and that Kushner's access has been bad for the US in some respect, they will shift and the response will be some version of "Oh yeah? Well, well, well, Clinton sucks and Obama, too!" said in the voice of below character, frustrated that his ability to think clearly has been demonstrated yet again.

I disagree, Kushner shouldn't have been hired for any position. Hilary does suck though.

My impression is that Trump hired him as an advisor simply because he didn't know any better. He did not stop to think through whether Kush had any issues in his prior career in real estate, and specifically financing, that would be a problem. He also did to stop and think that a guy coming from that background and who, like himself, knew virtually nil about foreign policy, might be a hindrance more than a help.

So much of this is born of Trump's arrogance and naivete at what he was getting himself into.

I think it has more to do with trust, but either way Kushner shouldn't be in the position imo.

I think most of us would say the same about his marriage to ivanka. How did THAT happen? Jared looks like the scrawny kid that got sand kicked in his face.

Hey Goobers, I know you were super concerned about intra-family Biden loans being paid back in full. Given how principled you are, I'm sure your boy Comer is looking into this blatant grift. Right? Right?

PE firms make long term investments. Their return strategy might be modeled 5-10 years out.

Also, real estate investments typically lose on their bottom lines initially. Then they’re cash flow positive from the tax sheltered aspect rather quickly.

Probably a nothing burger. But the story is intended to stir up the low information voters.

What kind of profits did Hunter bring to China?

Obviously, it succeeded in its task.
