Troy Gentry, of the Montgomery Gentry band, was killed when the helicopter he was riding in crashed in New Jersey.

Country has really took a gut punch today

Was shocked to hear this and still bummed. Great group who put on awesome shows, seen them just a few years ago at the State Fair. Awful day for country music.
