trouble with blue back discs. ps2

my ps2 wont play the blue back discs anymore? has anybody else has this problem? what are some solutions?

I've heard a lot of PS2's have had this problem... I got an early model PlayStation 2 (one of the first 100,000) and eventually had problems with it. See if the warranty is still good, and if it is, just go with that.

I'm not saying that they will, but no warrenty or not they should cover that sh!t.

Yea that happened to mine, I lived without those games for a while, then the whole laser went. If its an older (bigger) ps2, they werent made to last. I went and bought a new slim one.
