Well, he's a solid position coach and can recruit, no matter what people think of him personally, from a purely football stand point would be a good get for Auburn.

Maybe they are looking for a black guy.

Let trooper go down there. He'll steal some of saban's pick of the litter. Sounds great to me.

Wow, if they get Trooper, and can somehow lure Rodney Garner home from UGA, they will be a recruiting machine.

I think we should try and get Trooper back. With him and Orgeron both chest bumping? Not sure that the Kiffin's won't chest bump either. HA HA j/k....but he was a good football coach and really kept this team pumped up. I wish him the best.

To get Trooper and Garner will require at least $600 each, maybe more. But, UT has plenty of cash.

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing him back in orange at all. But I wish the best for him wherever he goes. I think we will be fine either way.

Chizik is going after big names as well. Gonzo would be in play there before this ends.

I respect Talyor as a coach and he is one hell of a recruiter. Every position he coached here improved greatly. He is a little to animated sometimes but it really doesn't bother me because he gets results from his players. Whoever gets him is getting a good coach.

The only negitive I see with Talyor is he likes the spotlight. Football is a team game and that goes for coaching staffs as well. The bad feelings between him and Chavis give me some concern. But not enough to keep from hiring the guy if we could.

What are the bad feelings with Chavis you refer to?
