I didn't think he would leave. Why would he move back across the country for a similar position.

Donsarge can read that article and see what TT brought to Tennessee (a lot more than the chest bumps).

CPF did absolutely the right thing. He is a breathe of fresh air that the VOL NATION has loved and adopted as one of our own.

Taylor is the real deal.Watching him interact with the players during the Cotton Bowl was refreshing. You need a control guy(CPF) and some free spirits to get the job done.Glad he will stay....GO VOLS !!! :rocks: :rocks:

ANd you gotta believe that he is impressing a lot of future VOLS.

Ive heard a lot of recruiting trips and in home visits have included CPF, The coordinator (either JC or RS) and Taylor. Kids like seeing him "be one of them" with the chest bumps and high fives.

ANd lets not forget hes a coach too. I cant remember what game it was but when Cedrick took himself out of a game, TT was in his face, telling him to shake it off and get back in there.

I'm relieved to see that he's not leaving. I think bringing him on board was one of the best moves we've made in years.

like we didnt see this coming...

first time ever with 2 x 1,000 yard rushers and the great recruiting he has done for the class of 05? Let's go ahead and rename a street after him and give him his own cheering section at games.

I'M A TAYLOR TROOPER!! BUMP IT UP!!

That was because of TT's Neyland like discipline, attire, appearance and conduct!

So he did bring something to UT, other than the "chest bump" and the "High five"?

does he bring anything else? come on, now.

he is a recruiting stud and since he is from texas, we now have a great presence for recruiting in TX , he's an emotional leader to the players and you can pretty much thank him for riggs staying here at UT and turning his season into 1,000 yard +.

he WAS the lowest paid coach on the staff. I guess you can say he brings a little more than a chest bump and high five to the table.

UT will not be the last school he coaches for. enjoy him while we still have him. :cross: :twocents:

he may stay longer than you think one of his points on staying was the loyalty factor with CPF

i hope so.

he's just fun to watch. aside from being a great coach, motivator and recruiter.

a bunch of my longhorn friends became trooper fans too and well, you can imagine how jealous they are now. :moon2:

Reading article recently he said he could see him self hear for four of five years. Would not surprise me to see him as an Offensive Co-Ordinator for the Vols real soon.
Several teams are going to Two OC's one for passing and one for running. Could be interesting.
