Maybe we will see more of this. The current Dem party stands for infanticide, child castration, communism, crime, and will use any means necessary to acquire/remain in power. Glad to see Tricia Cotham take a stand.

My family used to be half democrats. In the 90's it was clear to everyone that the democrats were no longer a party for the working class. They had begun to be taken over by socialists then and pushed big government. The assault weapons ban pushed all my family to the side of the republicans, and we have never looked back. When we entered the mid 2000's and 2010's, the democrats were full bore loony tunes that totally hated America, and even more, hated with everything in them over half of the American people. Why anyone could ever vote for a democrat in todays times is beyond me. Todays dems and their supporters are the party of mental illness and hate.

So she joined a party that she has never been ideologically aligned with and this is her taking a stand? Maybe she should stand up and say that this shouldn't be a binary choice. Stand on her own policies and ideas

Maybe she didn’t want to be aligned with a party that is for mutilating children. Something that bizarre would no doubt push people away.

Then go independent. Don't suddenly join the other side, one you didn't agree with last week, and hand them a super majority while stating you won't be controlled. It's bizarre

Because she can do whatever she wants perhaps. She could have been trending that way for a while. Who knows? Now if you are a close confidant to her and actually know the behind the scenes information then your statement has merit. If not then you really don’t know enough facts to advise her on what to do.

You would think that it would push then away but I know plenty of lifelong Dems that still think they’re supporting JFK when they vote.

I'm commenting on the thread topic not advising her. If you're not interested in reading that then move along.

It's just strange to work against a group for so long then all of a sudden switch sides and hand them a super majority.
