Playing it tonight and I'm annoyed they abandoned the metal riffs from the music of the original games for techno tracks. The voice that talks to you during races is equally annoying and repetitive on retries.

I have not been able to pull off any tricks yet... Guess that comes later?

Yeah, it's at the end of the 2nd or 3rd section. Then you can use them anytime.

I hope you're wrong. I don't use custom music for everything but for a game like this or racing games they are a must!
