This thread is a step back in East Tennessee history it looks like.

There was a high school all star game played here in Bristol in 1963 or 64 between the Southwestern Va. all stars and the East Tn all stars I think The old ball coach was QB for East Tn and they Lost. Do names like Arthur Booher and the Bails brothers take you back.

Jason Witten is about to become Jason Witten-Grindstaff...local auto dealer and he are inseperable when he comes in.

I was in Viet Nam on the USS Oriskany with Grindstaffs brother Bill who played some good basketball at Betsy.
