Tatum and Kendrick are out and Richmond is questionable. I had Vols call on coming back from the store and Butch said he’s been practicing this week at tackle and seems to be getting comfortable at the position.

He’s definitely been a bright spot on the OL and I will like to see how he does out there.

I think 🤔 Southern Mississippi will have our offensive line figured out Saturday, when they bring the House on defense against us. They will load the box with 8 or 9 stacked, daring us to throw it, then blitz.

He is the Best blocker on the team!! He had about 10 pancakes against KY!

Glad he is playing the position he is so perfectly suited for!!:rock:

In two years NFL teams will be Foaming at the mouth for him!!

He's a good one, and unlike the rest of the O line, he has overcome poor coaching. He must have had a good HS coach-one that stressed the fundamentals, and personal commitment to strength training.....just saying.

Imagine Trey Smith actually having a legit HC & OL coach?

He’d be even more unstoppable than he is right now.

Head coach has very little to do with player development.

I know for a fact Hoke is a great DL coach and our guys get pushed around. Could it possibly be our guys are just not as good as their rankings coming out. I didn't hear Konbo's name all night Saturday.

Besides the stop on GT this line hasn't made a play all year.

Hoke sucks.

They told him to stop choking the OL

Maybe Trey Smith can play tackle and guard at the same time.

Jones has Daniel Bituli scheduled to start at MLB and SAM at the same time on the “organizational chart” 🙄, so why not list Trey twice. (Blue font)

I heard an NFL scout on xm say that Tennessee has very little talent the NFL would be interested in. He said Smith on the O line and Kelly in the backfield were the only two. I know some people will go ballistic and they'll swear we are right there with Alabama on talent but this guy had no axe to grind, he just called it like he sees it.

Play after play, Kongbo stands up and just leans on his man.And then saunters off toward the vicinity of where the pile is.

not that hard...
slant d line to the opposite side of the back alignment. RB has to cross face for "read" option crap play. Run through gaps and tickle the lineman as they try to titty fight. Smash running back two yards deep or as ball is being handed off on "read." If a pass play there will be less resistance. DL to get in two point sprinter stance and crash the gaps. 1 sack per series if about average.
You are welcome.

They're playing Kongbo out of position. I'd put 15-20 lbs on him and move him inside. Tell him "run straight up the field and try to get in someone's way back there!" (as you point toward the backfield). "If you do that you'll get a cheeseburger and someone will rub your belly."
