I'm happy for the kid, but I have a problem with people wanting to idolize a person who went to 2 high schools in 2 years, then dropped out in lieu of a GED. Debbie Downer, I know.

I never idolize. But support I will. Sounds like your normal South Knoxville kid haha. :salute:

I'm sure he doesn't care, he just became a millionaire yesterday...

He is living the good life right now I think.

Not finishing college is one thing. Not finishing high school is just sad. I know that I won't convince y'all and you will certainly never convince me, either.

how would it make a difference since he basically has a HS diploma anyway? I also don't see how it would make him drive any better

I'm talking about a 20 year old kid that dropped out of high school. I don't care what he's doing. I'm not saying it'll help him drive any better. Not only can it put him at a disadvantage in terms of intelligence, it also furthers the bad stereotypes about the area in which I live. We're looked at as less-educated, and because of stories like this, whether the kid seems nice or not (which he does), I don't like to see it.

He made straight A's while at those school and is very smart. He had to juggle traveling across the country and his school work and had to make A's if he wanted to keep racing.

That said, I can't believe he freakin won. Amazing, very happy for him, great kid and friend.

You know nothing about Trevor, stop acting like you do.
