One is a power back, the other a speed back.

I hate that we lost out on Richardson.

Which one is which? Bryce is an all-around back. He is a burner, but is built like a power back and is as excellent a pass-catcher out of the back field as you'll ever see. I would describe Richardson more as a power back.

I am not sure that either one of them has proven anything to date. Compared with the talent that we had before this year in Hardesty and Poole, Brown looks like the same level at this point, which is saying alot for a freshman. I can not wait for Williams to make his return and see how he stacks up with Brown.

I know that Brown has a lot of potential, but we just have not seen anything yet that makes him stand out in the competitive SEC.

I don't know what more he has to do. He is running like a 3rd year player at this point and he's only going to get better. When you can put your second guy in and have very little drop off -- that's huge. That's what we get out of Brown. He has excellent field vision, he is hard to tackle, he has one of the best bursts I've ever seen out of a running back. His YPC is better than Hardesty's and he's 9th in the SEC in yards while only getting half the carries of everyone in the top 5.

He's awesome already and he is only going to get better.

When we get some hogs on the line...the sky's the limit for Bryce.

I agree with Sabo. He's not really dominating. Also he still dances a tad bit in the hole. I think he'll be good eventually but Hardesty should be getting the bulk of the carries.
