Travel information requested.(I-40)

If anyone is traveling from Knoxville to Nashville,I-40 east or west, can you let me know asap how road conditions/ traffic flow is, especially Cumberland Plateau area.We have snow on the roads here in middle Tennessee.

Parents live in Cookeville. As far as I know I-40 is good and clear around the plateau. Didn't know there was new precipitation fall this morning though. Western NC got hit hard Thursday, so I-40 through the gorge could be slow, but by now should be well manicured for travel. The gorge is hit or miss anyway.
